There are numerous canals in Amsterdam, and you should not miss a canal trip if you are visiting Amsterdam. Canal trips offer you a chance to get familiar with the city, so it is better to note down the places that you want to visit in Amsterdam before taking a ride.

Some of the world famous museums are located in Amsterdam; Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum, and Anne Frank House being the most visited ones. Make sure to add these historical places in your list, where you can make a stop during your canal ride. If you are travelling with kids, the Science Center NEMO and Royal Artis Zoo should be on top of your list.

If you were alone, you could go for a walk around the Red Light Area to relieve yourself from a long day of sightseeing. Several varieties of drinks and refreshing Dutch beers are available here. Take a stroll down the street to find world-class restaurants that offer incredibly delicious dishes.

You can grab your lunch either from an Amsterdam terrace or from a neighborhood cafeteria. You can find many cafés and bars that offer mouth-watering food on the wide streets and squares in Amsterdam.

After your day biking around the city, spend an amazing night in a dance club or catch a gig at Melkweg, one of the most popular clubs in Amsterdam. You can also visit Paradiso, which is famous for music concerts and events conducted by international bands.
