Do you want to experience Washington DC like you never imagined? Join our semi-private combo tour of the National Mall and Capitol Hill to see the city’s iconic monuments and beating political heart. Up to 10 people can join the tour and spend 5 hours browsing the US capital’s sights guided by one of our knowledgable local guides. There will be a lunch break and transport between the two districts.
Start off with your guide exploring the world-class monuments dedicated to notable figures including George Washington and Abraham Lincoln at the National Mall. Learn about their stories as well as the history behind the many wars immortalized around the National Mall, including World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam. You might even catch a glimpse of the president and first lady while passing by the White House.
Next, visit some of the most important places in DC, including the stunning exteriors of the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, and Capitol Hill. Go inside the Thomas Jefferson library and check out a real Gutenberg Bible. Learn about the judicial system at the Museum of the Supreme Court, and maybe get a peek inside the actual courtroom. There is a possibility to get tickets for a tour of the Capitol’s interior, where politicians and legislatures work tirelessly for the American people. This tour will allow you to see most of the major sights all in one day.

- we highly recommend this tour. although we had previously lived in the dc area and had visited many of the sites on our own, there is no substitute for a guided tour to fully appreciate the background stories of each.. We cannot say enough good things about our guide Aaron, who clearly possesses a wealth of information on the city' s history and makes the tour a fun experience (even in December).
- Guide was exceptionally well informed and added humor to his interesting delivery. Would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys a historic review of the city.
- I booked this tour for my 78 year old Dad who is pretty mobile but gets disoriented with directions. He loved this tour! Both guides really zoomed in on the things he wanted to see and made the most of his time. Never did he feel like he was wandering on his own (which was my primary concern). This was my first time using this tour group but it won't be my last. Thanks for taking such good care of my Dad!
